AMERICA COTTAGE, just at the side of Slipperfield Loch - a magnificent seven acre lake visible from America Cottage, more so in the wintertime. The cottage is private and secluded, about a five minute walk from Loch Cottage, in a beautiful position, with an open garden.

The cottage is a bungalow, sleeping up to 6 in two twin bedrooms and one double, all with very comfortable beds with duvets. The kitchen is a feature, with all the modern appliances. The sitting room has a super picture window; see the countryside from your armchair!

The bathroom has an overhead shower above the bath, wash-hand basin and W.C.; there is also a hall with payphone.

America Cottage is convenient for the bus which takes you to Edinburgh, and the village of West Linton is just over a mile away with its shops, post office, bank, pubs, restaurant and bookshop etc.
